Gavin Newsom’s statewide order for all residents to shelter in place and the numerous local and State proclamations, orders and supplemental directions regarding the COVID-19 virus, Public Works hearings are held through videoconferencing and will provide for remote public comment.

1.              Call to Order REMOTE MEETING VIA VIDEOCONFERENCE

2.              Order No. 204628             (4) Trees within Supervisorial District 1       

To consider the removal of:

Two (2) street trees with replacement adjacent to 695 35th Avenue. Tree numbers 1 & 4, on the 35th Avenue frontage.

One (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to 520 Arguello Blvd. on the Arguello Blvd. frontage. The tree is listed as 500X Arguello Blvd, Tree no. 2 (Tree ID 123476) in the tree database.

 One (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to 733 Arguello Blvd.

Staff has approved the removal(s) and the public has protested.

 

3.              Order No. 204630             (2) Trees within Supervisorial District 3

    To consider the removal of:

(1)  One street tree with replacement adjacent to 1245 Jones St.  Tree removal permit application no. 787987.

(1)  One Street tree with replacement adjacent to 576 Union St.

Staff has approved the removal(s) and the public has protested.

 

4.              Public Works Order No: 204631    184 Amber Drive.

To consider the removal of one (1) street tree without replacement adjacent to

184 Amber Drive.  Staff approved the removal and the public has protested.

 

As the COVID-19 virus situation evolves, please visit the Public Works website (sfpublicworks.org) regularly to be updated on the current situation as it affects public hearings and the department.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Persons unable to participate in the videoconference may submit written comments regarding the subject matter to Bureau of Urban Forestry at 49 South Van Ness Ave. Suite 1000 94103 or urbanforestry@sfdpw.org. Comments received before the hearing will be brought to the attention of the hearing officer and made a part of the official public record. Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing and who want to use materials such as PowerPoint files, documents and photo images in their presentations must send the materials to Bureau of Urban Forestry via email at urbanforestry@sfdpw.org by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing. If attendees access the webinar via a computer, they will able to share documents themselves via the “share screen” functionality.
