Gavin Newsom’s statewide order for all residents to shelter in place and the numerous local and State proclamations, orders and supplemental directions regarding the COVID-19 virus, Public Works hearings are held through videoconferencing and will provide for remote public comment.

2. Order No. 204652             Pier 70, Infrastructure deferrals and Design Exceptions to Final Map PID 9585

Pier 70, Infrastructure deferrals and Design Exceptions to Final Map

Four design exceptions and eight deferrals were submitted to SFPW, SFMTA and SFPUC for review and approval. The exceptions covered but were not limited to utility connections, electrical power, sidewalks, street trees, bike corals, stormwater management and telecommunications clearances in lieu of City standards.  All Exceptions and Deferrals were reviewed and deemed acceptable by each of the affected Departments.

As the COVID-19 virus situation evolves, please visit the Public Works website (sfpublicworks.org) regularly to be updated on the current situation as it affects public hearings and the department.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION   

Persons unable to participate in the videoconference may submit written comments regarding the subject matter to CATHAL HENNESS (CATHAL.HENNESSY@SFDPW.ORG).             Comments received before the hearing will be brought to the attention of the hearing officer and made a part of the official public record.
