Gavin Newsom’s statewide order for all residents to shelter in place and the numerous local and State proclamations, orders and supplemental directions regarding the COVID-19 virus, Public Works hearings are held through videoconferencing and will provide for remote public comment.

1. Call to Order REMOTE MEETING VIA VIDEOCONFERENCE
 
** **Due to lack of proper notice, the first order, # 204686 will be a continuation from the 04/14/21 Public Works Hearing**


 
2. Order No. 204686 Major Encroachment
To consider approval from SF Planning and TASC for appurtenances in the Public Right-of- Way for which maintenance and liability will pass to the Master Homeowners Association (HOA) for the Hunters View Project.
 
3. Order No. 204690 1020 Baker St.
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree without replacement adjacent to
1020 Baker St.  Staff approved the removal and the public has protested.
 
This order supersedes Order 204629, previously scheduled for April 21st, 2021.
 
4. Order No. 204691 2860-2862 Greenwich St
To consider the removal of two (2) street trees with replacement of one (1) adjacent to 2860-2862 Greenwich St. Staff approved the removal and the public has protested 
 
 
 
5. Order No. 204692 60 Stonecrest Dr.
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to
60 Stonecrest Dr. Staff denied the removal and the applicant has appealed.
 
6. Order No. 204693 3944 22nd St. 
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to3944 22nd St. Staff approved the removal and the public has protested.
 
7. Order No 204694 1407 Shafter Ave.
To consider the removal of one (1) street tree with replacement adjacent to 1407 Shafter Ave. Staff approved the removal and the public has protested.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Persons unable to participate in the videoconference may submit written comments regarding the subject matter to INFRASTRUCTURE TASK FORCE (DPW-ITF@SFDPW.ORG). Comments received before the hearing will be brought to the attention of the hearing officer and made a part of the official public record. Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing and who want to use materials such as PowerPoint files, documents and photo images in their presentations must send the materials to INFRASTRUCTURE TASK FORCE via email at DPW-ITF@SFDPW.ORG by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing.

Comments received before the hearing will be brought to the attention of the hearing officer and made a part of the official public record. Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing and who want to use materials such as PowerPoint files, documents and photo images in their presentations must send the materials to Bureau of Urban Forestry via email at urbanforestry@sfdpw.org by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing. If attendees access the webinar via a computer, they will able to share documents themselves via the “share screen” functionality.
