Marina Green Bicycle Trail Project

The Marina Green Bicycle Trail Improvement Project will complete a vital pedestrian and bicycle link in the San Francisco Bay Trail between Fort Mason and Crissy Field. This segment serves thousands of residents, commuters and tourists on a daily basis. The project will improve the safety and quality of experience for all users of the path. Improvements include widening segments of the path, repaving the entire length, removing existing barriers, and accessibility upgrades. The project also complements the repaving of Marina Boulevard. The construction contract was advertised in June 2012 and bids are due in July 2012. Construction will be complete prior to the America’s Cup Finals in 2013. Once complete, this project will provide pedestrians and bicyclists with a more inviting, enjoyable experience.
