Project Overview

San Francisco Public Works has hired Esquivel Grading & Paving, Inc. to improve streets and underground infrastructure at various locations throughout San Francisco as part of the Various Locations Pavement Renovation No. 77 and Sewer Replacement Contract (No. 1000038062).

The project will include a combination of pavement renovation, curb ramp construction, sewer replacement and/or lining, traffic control, and related improvements. Because the work varies by location, the specific scope, schedule, and construction activities will be updated for each location as the project progresses.

· 38th Ave. Wawona St. – Vicente St.
· Santa Clara Ave. Terrace Dr. – Portola Dr.
· Sloat Blvd. 19th Ave. – Crainleigh Dr.
· Santa Ana Ave. Darien Way St. – Francis Blvd.
· Junipero Serra Blvd. Holloway Ave. – Lyndhurst Dr.
· Foerster St. Melrose Ave. – Teresita Blvd.
· Foerster St. Judson Ave. – Staples Ave.
· Taraval St. 12th Ave Claremont Blvd/ Montalvo Ave.
· Laguna Honda Blvd. Ulloa St. – Portola Dr.
· Ulloa St. Claremont Blvd. – West Portal Ave.

Construction Schedule

Construction is anticipated from June 2026 through August 2027. Residents, businesses, and other affected parties will receive a follow-up notice approximately 10 days before construction begins in their area.

General work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work may begin as early as 7:00 a.m.; however, traffic lane restrictions and tow-away restrictions will not begin until 8:00 a.m. Weekend work is permitted and may be necessary, although none is currently anticipated at this time.

Construction schedules and durations are subject to change due to weather, site conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect During Construction

Driveway access will be maintained whenever possible, although temporary delays may occur when crews are working directly in front of a building. Intersection and lane closures may also result in traffic delays, so please allow additional travel time during construction.

Please pay close attention to posted “No Parking/Tow Away” signs on construction barricades. Work hours and days may vary depending on the construction activity and location. No Parking/Tow Away signs will be posted at least 72 hours before work begins on a block.
